Via Third Coast International Audio Festival:
“Requesting proposals for audio art (30 second duration max) that celebrates the sounds of the U.S. Postal Service and the people and places it connects. Think of this as a short audio postcard. Works may be based on a stamp, an image or a collection of images, or none at all. Audio can be abstract, musical, archival, narrative-driven etc. We are seeking a variety (if your proposal includes non-original audio work all rights for use of that audio must be secured by the artist). Kid-friendly (all-ages) proposals are very welcome. Selected works will be part of a multi-month gallery exhibition at the Smithsonian's National Postal Museum. Proposals will be selected by the end of March and the exhibition is due to begin sometime during the summer of 2019.”
DEADLINE: March 4.
