Via Jet Propulsion Laboratory:
”JPL’s Digital News and Media team is seeking an experienced Video Producer to develop live broadcasts and taped video packages for air on NASA TV and digital platforms including YouTube and Facebook. We are seeking an experienced live broadcast producer and video storyteller who also does on-air work and is an energetic multitasker who thrives in handling priorities and deadlines without requiring extensive oversight.
In this position, you will collaborate with videographers, editors, directors, animators, designers, newsroom writers, mission personnel and others to present content in unique and engaging ways.
On a day-to-day basis, you will research, write and oversee the production of video packages that chronicle news from our missions.
On a less frequent basis, you will develop and host live broadcasts about NASA-JPL missions and projects, particularly during major mission events such as landings on Mars.
Using excellent news judgment and keen storytelling, you will develop compelling live and videotaped content that shares the magnitude of our science discoveries and the ingenuity of our engineering with the widest possible audience.”
