“The Associate Video Producer will provide editorial and production support to the Op-Docs team, and should have a demonstrated interest in documentary shorts and video journalism.
**Responsibilities may include:**
+Participate in weekly Opinion video ideation and workshop brainstorm sessions
+Review Op-Docs submissions; help ensure prospective filmmakers receive a timely response.
+Assist in the selection and curation of Op-Docs.
+Prepare videos for publication using Adobe Premiere (place graphics, subtitles, credits; sync audio as needed; export and quality-control final outputs)
+Oversee delivery and packaging of Op-Docs for theatrical screenings and festivals.
+Coordinate filmmaker calls
+Assist with managing production pipeline
+Liaise with festivals and filmmakers to solicit promising screeners
+Assist with submissions for awards, festivals and campaigns
+Help with fact-checking documentaries
+Build audience development and promotion plans
+Help manage event logistics and marketing efforts
+Perform related work as assigned.
